Redwood Family Care Network is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Adult Day Program Manager to lead our Pasadena program. What You'll Do
As the Adult Day Program Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the program while ensuring compliance with company policies, California regulations, Regional Center requirements, and individual service plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the Adult Day Program and ensure a safe, healthy, and positive environment for staff and clients.
- Recruit, train, supervise, schedule, and evaluate program staff.
- Ensure client rights are protected and upheld at all times.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized program environment.
- Review referral packets, assess prospective clients, and coordinate with Regional Center counselors and other professionals.
- Maintain accurate and compliant client and facility records in accordance with applicable California regulations.
- Provide staff in-service training and participate in required training programs, including New Hire Orientation.
- Monitor program quality through field visits, daily audits, and ongoing quality assurance activities.
- Review staff documentation and ensure required client notes and progress reports are completed accurately and on time.
- Participate in Individual Program Plan (IPP), Transition, and interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Build positive relationships with clients, families, Regional Centers, community partners, and other agencies.
- Coordinate medical and dental appointments, emergency care, and physician orders when needed.
- Maintain required program records, including consultant, maintenance, vehicle, and other operational logs.
- Monitor employee timekeeping and other administrative functions.
- Assist with community outreach and marketing efforts to promote program growth.
- Monitor program expenses and assist with managing financial resources, including staffing, supplies, utilities, and other operational costs.
- Ensure program operations comply with applicable Title 17, Title 22, Regional Center contracts, facility program design, and Individual Program Plans.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a confident, organized, and compassionate leader who can effectively manage a team while keeping the individuals we serve at the center of every decision.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience, including experience supervising approximately 5–30 employees.
- Current First Aid/CPR certification.
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid California Driver's License.
- Must successfully complete all required pre-employment screening, including a background check.
- Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, employees, Regional Centers, and community partners.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to perform the physical and operational duties necessary to support the program and individuals served.
