Community Reintegration Administrative Specialist
Southern Highlands Community Mental Health Center is seeking a compassionate and organized Community Reintegration Administrative Specialist to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping individuals build practical skills, prepare for successful transitions, and work toward greater independence and stability.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will facilitate daily supportive group counseling sessions focused on practical life and recovery skills, including facilitating daily supportive group counseling sessions focused on essential life and recovery skills, including money management, GED preparation, résumé building, interview techniques, stress management, and relapse prevention. This position will also meet individually with consumers in short-term substance use disorder (SUD) residential treatment to help prepare them for transition into long-term care. Additional responsibilities include overseeing the ACCESS Program’s monthly reporting process and ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and submitted on time.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must meet one of the following educational/credential requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related human services field; OR
- Current certification as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS).
Additionally required:
- At least one (1) year of experience working with individuals diagnosed with mental illness and/or substance use disorders.
