About Care Crisis Response Services (CCRS):

CCRS is a 24/7 crisis center offering suicide prevention, crisis intervention, and professional consultation services, including behavioral health evaluations. We provide brief crisis counseling and help clients identify appropriate services for their behavioral health crises. Our operations include regional and 988 crisis lines across Washington State.

General Function:

This full-time hourly position serves as the primary liaison between Behavioral Health and Accounting, providing financial and administrative support to Program Leadership and the Executive Director. Coordinates contract budget tracking, payroll processing support, and financial reporting while working closely with Accounting Leadership to ensure compliance with organizational policies, internal controls, and financial procedures. Collaborates with managers and supervisors across departments to support operational and financial objectives.

Principal Activities:


Work with Sr. BH Accounting Specialist to track the annual budget for behavioral health programs
Work with Sr. BH Accounting Specialist to track contract budgets for behavioral health programs
Be mainly responsible for monthly invoicing and related reporting
Pull expenditure reports as requested from financial system (MIP Abila) and payroll system (Paycom)
Update Contract Spend Down spreadsheets
Help with payroll/finance matters and attend payroll and finance meetings
Help troubleshoot payroll and timecard issues with employees
Ensure all timecards for behavioral health are turned in and approved by both employee and supervisor by the deadline
Collect and review Payroll Issue Forms from employees to submit to Payroll
Work with Sr. BH Accounting Specialist and communicate closely with Payroll any changes to employee contracts/labor allocations
Maintain thorough and accurate files and documentation following company policy and GAAP
Answer any questions about Behavioral Health finances upon request.

Effective performance in this role ensures accurate contract budget tracking, timely invoicing, and reliable financial reporting that support the financial health and sustainability of Behavioral Health programs. The position promotes payroll accuracy, compliance with funding requirements, and sound financial stewardship through effective coordination, documentation, and communication among program, payroll, and accounting staff. As a result, leadership is equipped with accurate financial information for decision-making, contract resources are managed effectively, and organizational operations run efficiently.

QualificationsQualifications:


BS/BA in Accounting, Business, or related field with at least one year of financial/budgeting experience
Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting
Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Nonprofit accounting experience preferred
Experience using Paycom preferred
Experience working with governmental contracts preferred
Excellent math and organizational skills, with attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines
Ability to work as a team member with a high degree of reliability, accuracy, and productivity
Ability to identify and resolve problems promptly; gather and analyze information skillfully 
Demonstrate a focus on quality and a creative mind by being accurate and thorough
Willingness to take on extra tasks as needed.
