They will manage the call flow for the call center while de-escalating any complaints or concerns while ensuring call center agents are connecting clients with the appropriate program. Additionally, the Access to Care Coordinator will provide training, support, and review of clinical documentation when necessary. As the 988 Supervisor, it is your responsibility to ensure the 988 Crisis Call Center operations is implemented in accordance with Vibrant/SAMHSA standards. This is a full-time, salaried position. 

 

What you'll be doing:


Oversee operations of 988 by collecting data and reporting necessary changes to Vibrant/SAMHSA
Review documentation, call logs, and system errors and provide feedback appropriately
Ability to work in a highly stressful environment that deals with frequent suicidal callers
On call availability to staff and provide crisis intervention to callers
Participate in regularly scheduled supervision and debriefing sessions as appropriate
Intervenes appropriately with callers who present imminent danger to self or others, including assessing lethality and taking necessary steps to intervene
Assist with any immediate issues that arise in the call center
Ensure that call center operations during scheduled shifts are flowing
Supervise daily activities & functions of the department
Manage the Community Mental Health Officer’s activities as well as Emergency Services
Approve leave, timesheets, and monitor coverage in department, timeclock approvals and edits
Collaborate with internal staff, Program Managers and A/R Personnel in assigning new clients
Ensure scheduling of clients to appropriate providers based on level of care
Perform crisis intervention and resolution as necessary
Perform Assessments and Treatment Plans on new clients, returning clients or clients in crisis
Complete accurate and timely documentation into the Electronic Medical Record
Collaborate with internal and external agencies regarding clients and provide clinical consultation as necessary
Present to the psychiatrist a client’s status or medical needs as necessary
Ensure compliance with State, Federal, Local, DMH and Center regulations and standards of care are followed
Ensure that the standards of operations related to Access to care and client registration are followed by agency guidelines
Attend required training, staff meetings, manager meetings, PIC and communicate information to assigned staff
Complete other duties as assigned.

QualificationsWhat we're looking for:


Master’s Degree in qualified field
Prefer AL licensure as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
Experience preferred in Crisis Intervention
Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
Excellent Organizational skills to include time management
Knowledge of data systems and programs such as excel
