Responsibilities: Under the general supervision of the Director of Families Forward (FF), this position supervises and provides direction to the assigned operations of one or more units, as well as the development of clinical services serving Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham Counties. Oversees units that include Families Forward Intake/Access, Crisis Services, Urgent Care, and the Crisis Stabilization Unit. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing administrative and clinical leadership and supervision to assigned units; advocating with State partners to represent program needs and operational impacts; supporting program development and planning through the use of data, service trends, and outcome information to identify needs, guide improvements, and strengthen service delivery; developing and maintaining programs; collaborating with community partners; formulating policies and procedures; completing evaluations; supporting matrix functions and special assignments/projects; and overseeing related grants and initiatives. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit in a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI’s mission, policies, and procedures.

 

Requirements: Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or closely related field is required. Possession of appropriate State of Michigan credential (E.g: LMSW, LLP, LP, LPC, etc.) is required. A minimum of four (4) years of progressively more responsible clinical experience required. At least one (1) year of work experience in a supervisory/administrative capacity is required. Ability to communicate accurately and effectively both in writing and verbally is required. Demonstration of effective leadership and good judgement skills required. Possession of a valid Michigan driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use is required.

 

Conditional Employment Requirements: Employment offers for this position will be contingent upon the results a background verification and credentialing procedure consisting of: Michigan State Police clearance check, and to undergo and pass a Central Registry Screening, verification of a professional license, Medicaid/Medicare verification, verification of an acceptable driving record, educational background check and verification of an acceptable work history. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Salary/Hours:  $45.56-$50.97 hourly with scheduled annual increases.   40 hours per week. 8-5pm with some evening hours past 5pm

 

Location:  Lansing, Michigan.
