Key Responsibility Areas:

•Directing the alignment of functional key performance areas with the broader development strategy with respect to socio-economic development and, defines, implements and monitors the short and longer term plans/objectives.
•Managing and controls processes aimed at promoting and creating awareness of the socioeconomic development potential and proposed interventions.
•Disseminating information on the functional processes, programme execution, outcomes, current developments, problems and constraints.
•Managing the procedural administrative and reporting requirements/deadlines associated with functionality.
•Managing the professional, technical and operational outcomes associated with community based developmental related projects and programmes.
•Implementing procedures, systems and controls to regulate specific work sequences and general practices/processes.
•Directing and controlling the key performance indicators and outcomes of personnel within the Development Section.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

•Degree (NQF Level 7) in Social Work or Development Studies or any other related and equivalent qualification
•Valid motor vehicle driving license.
•4 Years relevant experience.

Preferred Requirements:

•5 Years relevant experience.
